She is an alcoholic and rotton food hoarder. She has episodes where she she throws fits. We treat her great but when she gets mad she gets very verbally abusive and even violent. She drinks about a half gallon of vodka every week .She is literally crazy. But I am terrified of her. I would like to find some local resources I can turn to for advice. I live in Eugene oregon

Poolfiend, go to Alanon meetings for support. I'm pretty sure you can google for locations. Perhaps someone there can advise you of other resources.

That's two big bottles = roughly 70 units of alcohol = roughly 10 vodkas a day. Or five times the maximum recommended intake for an average-sized woman even by the most generous public health standards.
