Summer, are you saying that you've found an Assisted Living community and your mom has agreed to move there?

Can you just tak the basics to start? Seasonal clothing, photographs, pictures for her wall, knickknacks that will make it feel like home? And leave the major cleanout of her apartment/ home for after she has moved?

There are also Senior Moving services.

Is she getting anti-anxiety meds for the " getting scared alot" symptoms?

Summer, does the Assisted Living apartment already come furnished with a bed, closet, dresser, and maybe a table? Do they supply the linens, towels, boxes of tissues, etc.? And have weekly linen wash service?

When my Dad moved from Independent Living apartment to Assisted Living he had already downsized from a house so that was helpful, but there still was a lot to move. Dad's Assisted Living could come furnished but I wanted his own bedroom set, his 3 bookcases, and other items. Oh good heavens, moving all those books but Dad loved those books, so why not.

When my Dad initially moved from his house to Independent Living, I needed to hire a moving company as there was no way I could move furniture, I was way passed that age :P It was money well spent.
