My 93 year old mother just recovered from mucosal melanoma (oral) through surgery last year. Now it is recurring on her lip and upper palate 3 months after she was cleared. Has anyone had experience with this?

It is a rare melanoma. We are not sure yet of treatment options, the last one was difficult for her.
