My mother-in-law forget where the bathroom is only at night and goes on the floor. Advice?

Can you put a bedside commode in her room?

I think you could put a bedside toilet in her room where she is going on the floor, but she may forget what it's there for. I would try that, but if she can't recall to use it, then why not try Depends for overnight use?

Are there night lights to guide her to where the bathroom is located? I can see confusion if awaken and the room is in total darkness, plus some will become disoriented as to what is up or down.

My whole house is filled with night lights everywhere, that way if I or sig other need to go to another part of the house for whatever reason we don't need to turn on a bright overhead light.
