My mother (98) has dementia. She has been living with us for 9 months. For the last 3 or 4 years, she doesn't want to be alone. Advice?

What treatment did the neurologist suggest? Mom sounds like she might benefit from a mild anti-anxiety medication. And, to be honest, I might get her in to see another neurologist. Fear or being left alone is a sign of dementia. If she follows you everywhere, that’s called “shadowing” and that is also a sign of dementia.
