My mother is 86 with dementia and alzheimer's. She is stressing herself physically and mentally. Our lil Puddin' Pop lies there grabbing the bed trying to get out and tapping her feet!

Can you put a bedside commode next to her bed and then have someone help her sit on it, so she can pee or poop?
That's what I did for my late husband who was bedridden for the last 22 months of his life, and was in our living room in a hospital bed. He had a permanent catheter, but I had an aide to come and put him on the commode so he could poop, as it's much easier to clean out the commode than to change a poopy diaper while someone is lying down.
Just a thought.
