My mom, in the last year, has started taking the bottom sheet off her bed. I've tried several different ways to keep them on without success. I even tried the Quik Zip set and she ruined that. Anyone else have this issue? And any suggestions on how to keep the sheet on the bed?

Thanks, momdoesntknowme. I have taken the top sheet off and she only has a light comforter to cover her. She runs warm. I'm considering sewing strips on the corners at the top and bottom. I've tried the other things with no success.

I thought my Mom was the only one who took the sheets off her bed, she used to do that 3 or 4 times a day/night. What has worked for me is the sheet/suspenders/garters/straps (several names) for each corner, pulled tight. She still takes off the top sheet and comforter but the bottom sheet stays in place. I hope this helps, good luck.

I had that thought too. Except that she has incontinence issues. I may have to put the mattress cover back on and try what you suggested. Thanks!

The path of least resistance would be to just leave the sheet off the bed.

Or, when it comes time for your mom to go to bed place a sheet on the bed for her to lay on so she's not laying on the mattress. But if you anticipate her taking this off too I'd just leave the sheet off altogether. Laying on the mattress won't hurt her.
