Mom wants to avoid hip replacement surgery, but she hates taking pain medication for her arthritis. Any advice?

Having bad bilateral hip replacements at an early age the biggest thing your faced with is fear of the unknown and loss of being able to walk at all. I was walking the day of surgery. Was off pain meds within two weeks after my surgery. Don't delay getting your Mom to a qualified board certified orthopedic surgeon to resolve this long standing issue.
