Mom turned 80 and her premiums were waived for term life insurance. now it's changing over to whole life with no premiums. What can I do?

can she still retain the insurance policies living in a nursing home if there are no premiums involved...I was paying the premiums for the last 4 years

If she is planning on being a Medicaid recipient, she has to cash in the policies.
