Every sunday my mom talks to my sister and brother that live long distance, but afterwards she is upset and confused, is it worth it?

maybe have them call different days (Bro on Sun, Sis on Wed? Maybe speaker phone so you can hear & chat about the call later to help clarify if your Mom is confused). You may also want to talk to your sibs about simplifying their side of the conversation & stick to fun & easy topics (weather, garden, grandkids first words or baseball games) and keep descriptions simple & not overhwelm her with detail ("Johnny's team won their baseball game!" rather than a play-by-play of how the game went down).

I have to keep reminding my siblings about not giving too much information because dates and times are very confusing. Then if she gets confused and tells stories they get upset and I have to remind them again. Its been like this for many years but they all seem to be in denial. My sister is so inconsistent on when she calls its always on sunday if it happens at all. My brother that lives locally is getting better on checking on her or actually bringing her food or taking her out for a little trip. The other brother that lives in TN he does call on sunday usually....but I will try the different days that seems like it should help....im always up for trying new things.
