Find Care & Housing
I think the advice I once got from my son's pediatrician applies to elders as well. My son was hyerpactive. The doctor told me they medicate for the sake of the parents more than the children. Everyone's quality of life must be considered. We made it without medication. But my children know that it is fine with me, if when the time comes, I need to be medicated for their sake, please do so. So when you go to the dr's tell him both her situation and your feelings and see if you can't come up with something that helps all of you.

It sounds like a medication issue, that the right medication might help. I don't have much experience, but tell us what has been tried, and the experts will give you good advice.
