She has been sleeping in a chair at home for several years. She recently moved to a senior care/ assisted living facility. She wants to move the bed out of her room to make room for more chairs for visitors.

Find Care & Housing
No that would violate the state health dept. regulations. We got mom a hospital bed to sleep in, because she likes her head elevated at about a 45 degree angle and the feet slightly up to improve circulation. When she is not sleeping, we flatten it, lower it and use it as a couch. If there are more than 3 visitors we relocate to a lounge with real sofas.
