Now my mom has dementia and is in ECF. "Husband" is many years her junior-and 3 years ago had my mom sign POA. This scammy husband sold her home, belongs, other vehicles, and all belongings. Legal counsel I have sought says all is legal and that I should attempt guardianship-would 't we have to go to court and would be have to agree for me to gain guardianship. He is unwilling to share any details with me or my siblings. We were unaware of her dealings until the last few months. My mom smiles and talks about her kitties and her home when we visit! No one in the ECF alerted us and the scammy husband has used his box of tricks once again and is already dating on several internet sites! Anything you all see that we could do! Since the man never visits my mom-she believes he has died or left the area-she frequently requests a divorce....
