Since my mom still pays taxes can I claim her as a dependent?

and how do I get money back on all her supplies that have been bought to take care of her?

If your mom is filing her own tax returns you can't claim her as a dependent. You aren't going to get a refund to pay you back for the expenses of daily life. Look into services she might qualify for.

NO. And supplies are not deductible, even for her. See a tax consultant or read the instructions with the 1040 form .
