First, my sympathy to your mother and to all the people who love her. Second, Wikipedia says that the average survival time for this type of cancer is 2.5 years. Do you have questions about how to cope with that time? It is possible, but very difficult, to cope in-home with a fairly short term cancer, with help from hospice.
