My Mom is starting to have a nasty temper arguing with everyone that is trying to do something for her. Any advice?

Freav, we need more information. Does your Mom has dementia? Maybe an urinary tract infection? Both can cause a temper situation.

I would suggest your Mom be checked for a urinary tract infection... UTI's can cause argumentive behavior in elders. And she could be fearing her lost of independence, thus wants to do things herself instead of having someone help her. Getting older isn't easy.

Your mom needs a comprehensive phisio exam., especial a check for a UTI. then a check for demetia
