We had to separate my parents due to her showing aggression toward the nurses caring for my dad, as well as her refusal to let me help. To make a long story short, Geri Psychiatric hospital put her on Geodone 2x daily when my parents were together to help with the aggression. After they were separated, the dr, at my request, lowered the dosage to once a day. Now my mom is threatening other residents in the memory care unit, getting in fusses with them, etc. The dr has upped the dosage to 2x a day as previously taken, and it’s been long enough to be back in her system. She is still being aggressive. Anyone else dealing with this?
