My Mother has moved in with my husband and I. She has since had me removed as her POA and medical POA and cut me out of her will. She has called the Sheriff on us twice for no reason. She is in late stage COPD and can't do much but watch TV and walk outside to smoke. She wants me find her an apartment in a different state and move her there. As her health has declined I have gradually taken over as her caregiver. I'm torn as to what to do. She hates it here with my husband and I yet she won't go into assisted living. Ethically I don't feel good about taking her another state and leaving her alone in an apartment.

Well if she has removed you from being her POA you can't very well do as she is requesting. Did she appoint someone else? She should contact them. I know this is stressful for all of you. I'm sorry life has to be so difficult sometimes.
