All I can think of is "ice on - ice off" at 20 minute intervals.
Yes, I have checked her over thoroughly and asked of her pain. So far only right side of her leg has a large bruise, and two hand knuckles a little scraped.

I'm sure you've googled the best procedure. Expect her to be sore from the fall. Arnica jell is great for sore muscles.
Here is what web md has to say. I would also take a picture with your phone and document what happened.

Treating a Bruise at Home

1. Reduce Bruising and Swelling

Ice the area on and off for the first 24-48 hours.
Apply ice for about 15 minutes at a time, and always put something like a towel or wash cloth between the ice and your skin.
Rest the affected area.
If possible, elevate the affected area.
2. Treat Symptoms

For pain, take acetaminophen (Tylenol), or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), or naproxen (Alleve).
3. When to Call a Doctor

If bruise is accompanied by extreme pain, swelling or redness
If the person is taking a blood-thinning medication
If bruises appear on skin for no apparent reason
The bruise in on the face or head
You can’t move a joint
You may have a broken bone
4. Follow Up

Two days after a bruise develops, apply a heat pack or wash cloth soaked in warm water to the area several times a day to promote healing.
Pain and tenderness should get better within a few days and the bruise should go away within a couple of weeks.

Excellent thanks - I was too frazzled to go into heavy Google research, that's why I landed here -(AND WILL STAY!). All your info was perfect, thanks so much for researching and gathering data for me! I have some Aspercream instead of Arnica jell, I can't drive so were are stuck with what we have here. Everything stated above is perfect for my situation - she is doing well, and pain is calming, still icing. Husband returns tonight with access to her primary care physician. This is her 4th fall, I again thank your response, and this is my new "go to" website for my parents care. ~Burken63
