Mom needing more care, she does not have cable or internet in her home, Any advice?

My mom does not watch Tv, or like a computer, I am needing to be over there more often and have no way of keeping in contact with Health care aides and Dr email and other such things. How would you bill this as, I am thinking Internet would be best.

Do you have a laptop? Have WiFi installed, then you can take your computer over to your mom's. It's $30/month.
