She didn't qualify for Medicaid. I pay for all additional expenses. My sister won't help and although she lives only 10 minutes away, she hasn't called or visited in the past six months. My husband is going crazy with this situation and it is putting a toll on my marriage. My mom doesn't have any property, no savings, nothing. I am stuck. Any suggestions?

Find Care & Housing
If your mother has less than $2000.00 in assets she should qualify for Medicaid unless she had a house and transferred ownership or made large gifts of money within the last five years. Seems there's more to the story than is being told.

Check with your local agency on aging or her doctor. They should know what is available locally.
