Would having her doctor tell her that daily isn't necessary help?
My MIL would try to force herself to poop every morning, especially if she was going somewhere. My goodness, just let nature take it's course, will ya??
So, you probably will not be able to reason with her. Wouldn't hurt to have her doc tell her what a "normal" BM schedule is.
Also, make sure she has the "tools" to keep herself regular. Probiotics, water, plenty of fiber, prunes. But if she overdoes it, of course, she could end of with a different problem. Just can't win sometimes, right?
