Find Care & Housing
You cannot assign your mother's POA. Only she can do that. You need to discuss this with Medicaid and the nursing home.

NH never gave me a copy of papers I signed with them but i thought it's POA for my mom as she's not in state to function(alzheimer). so i thought i signed the POA surrendering all my power over her to NH so they can manage her coverages & everything. whatever it takes for them to maintain her coverages is up to NH. never had a problem till now. I've been getting bills from insurance & Dr's. she never had anything else but medi-medi. seven yrs or so. how do I find out if instance mailed out to correct address? per NH, her extension paper was never received so never filled in. therefore she ended up being uncovered. who do i need to speak to resolve the matter. thanks again for your kindness.
