You can contact area on aging and ask for a social worker to call on the abused and abuser. As Veronica suggested, we need more info to be helpful in an answer. One can always file charges but what do you want to happen? Do you want the abuser removed from the home? Do you want the abused to be taken to a facility? What does the abused want? Are you the abused? Can you leave? Give us more details and perhaps we can help you sort out a course of action.
