When there's signs of trembling/shaking in the hands, is there anything that we can do about this? Any medication?

To clarify my question the hands are normally shaking when are twisted
EX: when you pick up a glass and when you twisting your risk to drink the water

I'd like to know also. When my mom gets nervous or anxious, especially, her arms and hands shake/tremble. When I ask if she's OK, it stops. I know it isn't faked and it just recently happened within a month or so.
