My mom had my name on the deed for her house after my father died. She sold the house 7 years ago and moved in with me. She used some of her money to help with the move. How will Medicare look at this?

bought a one level home just so she would not have steps. She used some of her money to help with the move. How will medicare look at this; using some profits from the sale of her home to help us buy one to fit her needs. She has about 60000 left from the sale which gave her about 100000. Her only income is 1700 a month.

You seem to have kept good records. Still, I'd see an elder attorney or estate attorney to get this all in the format that makes sense for Medicaid so you are ready for questions. Only an attorney could properly figure out the answer to it, since there are so many variables.
