Also my mom seems to have a split personality. Has anyone else experienced. She tells me one thing then tells my sister something different. Plus she lies alot now. Is this normal?

Are you wondering about assisted living/memory care? There is not coverage under Medicare for long term care. If she had a hospitalization, then went to a facility for rehab, then Medicare would possibly pay for up to 100 days as long as she continued to improve. But after that initial period of Medicare it would become self pay or possibly Medicaid. If you are thinking Medicaid you need to take the time to understand the regulations, like no gifts of assets to anyone for five years previous to the application. See an attorney about Medicaid planning if she has assets and to learn about qualifying.
