Find Care & Housing
In order to move this person, can one person do it or do you need several to safely do it so that the caregiver does not get injured. This person needs to be turned about every 2 hours to prevent skin breakdown.
Are you looking for 24 hour care? Out of pocket care beyond the few hours that the person may receive through benefits will still cost more than a nursing home.

My MIL had in home care paid for by Medicaid. It was from an agency. I don't know if that was a requirement or not. For her it was for 3 hrs a day, 3 days a week for most of the time. Then when she started failing they came and spent the night to give family members a break so they could sleep.
