My Mom needs a Medicaid bed. Will Medicaid pay?

The local nursing home has all beds licensed for Medicaid but all rooms are private.

Much depends on your state rules, so check with the Kentucky Medicaid office nearest you. Also check with the facility itself. Doors open faster if you come in as a private pay with a large down payment and convert to Medicaid after a two year stay.
