<p class="userway-s14-active">Mother has to have trees trimmed at her house today. The cost will be $1100. These are just individual guys. There is not a company. They want payment in cash. She is going to the bank today to get that cash. I am concerned about how this will look if there is ever a Medicaid look back. I am thinking we need a receipt written. And I will also take photos of the guys doing the work. This is common practice here. These guys have done work at my own house a few times. I mainly just want to make sure us writing a receipt will suffice for Medicaid purposes.

(I'm also annoyed by people who insist on cash because they have no business license, no insurance, and don't want to pay taxes on their income. They are cheating the rest of us.)
I did this when we sold Moms car for cash.
Write out details as to what was done and the cost.
This is all part of home maintenance.
I doubt that photos will be necessary.
