Check out applying for SNAP (food stamps ) in your state, as well as possible help with costs for Medicare premiums and copays.

Have you applied for a widow's pension? Is there an American Legion or VFW near you? Often they help sort out the benefits.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page to the blue section. On the far right you will see VETERANS BENEFITS... click on that and you will find a variety of different articles... hopefully you will find on that works for your situation.
