My Mom (76) has Alzheimer's. She moved in with me and my husband. And she will reimburse me for room and utilities bills?

Yes, it only makes sense for your mother to pay room and board. I agree with Pam that going through a lawyer is worth it in this case. If she should need to apply for Medicaid or if other relatives question her payments, it is important to have everything neat and tidy.

In addition to room and board, you could consider a personal care contract. Mom would have to pay for her care elsewhere. If she can afford it she can be paying you. If this is beyond her financial means, it is perfectly OK for you to give her that. I'm just suggesting it isn't out of the question to consider it and discuss it with the lawyer.

Yes you can, with the help of an attorney to be sure it is all legal.
