Find Care & Housing
Granny, this forum is world-wide, thus it may take awhile for someone to come on-line who has had any experience with the companies you have mentioned above. Don't be disappointed if there are no replies.

As for live-in care, that works great if the patient sleeps through the night, and isn't requiring around the clock care. Otherwise the live-in caregiver could find herself doing the work of 3 shifts of caregivers daily. One would burn out very quickly.

I just noticed on your profile that your Mom is bed bound and is under Hospice. In some cases it could take two healthy people to help get your Mom up or to move her around in bed.

When it comes to caregivers, it is best to find a perfect match. My Dad had numerous of caregivers come over during the first week, then he choose the ones that he felt had a lot in common with him. It worked out great because Dad was still mobile and is mind was still clear.

I hope you can work out this situation to be a win-win for everyone.
