Looking for suggestions on a non-slip bathroom mat that can be washed and dried without the backing falling apart.

Thanks so much for everyone’s reply. I have not heard of the memory foam ones, so I will look into them. The latex-type backing on the lower quality mats I have been using have been falling apart after a few washings. I have been putting them out in the sun to dry. (The better quality ones were too thick and took several days outside to dry). But with the colder weather coming, a drying rack sounds like a good idea. My mom seems to need these washed frequently.

Interesting about the “non-skid” shelf covering to be used in the shower. Thanks for that idea too.

Are u drying in the dryer? The directions say u can but they last longer if u don't i put mine over a drying rack. For Moms bathroom I got one of those memory foam mats with a grip material.

I use the memory foam ones. It doesn't slip and holds alot of water and can be washed. Holds up well.

I apologize I thought you meant for inside bathtub.
I would buy 2 so one can hang dry after washing. They still only have so much life though:(

I use the rolls of rubbery material that has tiny holes in it and cut it for length. It’s the stuff people put in cabinets so dishes don’t slide. I found 18 ft roll and cut new piece as needed. They were at Target.

I recommend drying them on a low temperature in the dryer. This did wonders for the life of mine!

All non-slip bathroom mats only have SO much life in them before the backing falls apart & they have to be replaced. After about 50 washings, it's time for a new mat, it seems to me.
