I second the notion of hiring an agency caregiver for a regular schedule of weekly relief. You get the best people if you can commit to 25-ish or more hrs per week. Having a regular schedule allows you to reclaim more of a "normal" life for yourself socially, and in other ways. Your hubby will eventually need more extra outside care so if you establish a relationship with someone from an agency it will probably take a little while before you land "the right person". If you go this route please try to get him a male: this protects his dignity for hygiene issues and provides a companion at the same time. I wish you all the best in getting some relief!

Hi, I will suggest having a caregiver come over to watch your husband.

Respite care used to be easier to locate, but, covid has changed so much. Maybe, someone will be able to suggest something.
