How much legal danger is a caregiver in when a patient refuses to eat or drink?

Patients eats no more than a few bites and swallows a day? Patient absolutely does not want to be taken to the hospital and be hooked up to IV's etc.

You are not in any danger at all if you call Hospice. They will handle it. Otherwise if she dies and you have to call 911, there will be a LOT of questions.
