NY Sate, proposed law change to change the look back period from 5 yrs to 8 years. Advice?

We moved assets in trusts 3 years ago (2012). Our current lookback is 2017. If this law is passed, is our lookup changed to 2020? Thanks.

Checking the NY Assembly website, I do not see such a proposed law in the bill search section. You can always call your state assemblyman and ask.

In doing a Google search, I don't find that there is information on such a proposal . Where did you hear of this?
