Find Care & Housing
Call your local council on aging for an assessment of what services they can provide. Most will be paid for by Medicare. Do you have relatives that would be able to help out a few hours a week to allow you some time to yourself? If your husband was a veteran, please contact the VA for assistance and benefits available. You can find some info about this under the "Money and Legal" tab in upper right corner of this page. Good luck!

I agree with Littletonway's suggestion; Medicare does pay for some equipment and services for people in your situation. As for support groups, check with your nearest hospital. There are support groups and information seminars for just about anyone you can imagine. Your and/or your husband's doctor can put you in touch with the social services of the hospital, also, and they should be aware of all of the assistance for which you qualify as well as put you in contact with appropriate support groups. I think you will be surprised at the things you discover. It must be a tremendous strain on you with both of you having disabilities. Good luck with finding some help!
