Just wondering how long after the body starts the mottling process how long does your love one have?

Hello everyone, so my momma, my best friend has been on hospice for about a month and a half, and her nurse says we are nearing the end. I was just wondering how long might I have with her she has started the mottling process. My momma has advanced Emphysema and they are pretty sure she has lung cancer she is just too weak to have a biopsy.
