It seems every search I have tried for my area of NV. all reverts over to "A Place for Mom". While I have no problem with this agency, I just wanted to find a place near me so I could take my husband for a few hours several days a week. I'm burnt out, short-tempered, and depressed. I've tried "Care Now.com", Local Council on Aging, Adult Daycare, etc. to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Does your County or municipality have a social worker that can help? Some police departments have social workers now, too.

Is the person you're caring for a Veteran? If so, contact the VA Community Care, VA Primary Care, or VA social worker at the closest VA medical center.

Lutheran Senior Services or United Way (211 in some states) may also be able to help.

Interesting that Council on Aging didn’t help you much.

In our C on A has senior community centers. These centers have all sorts of activities for seniors. The hours will vary depending upon the location.

I hope that you will be able to find something in your area to suit your needs.

Our local Adult Daycare Center is part of our Senior Services. Have you checked with your Senior Services?

Thank you. I've done a search and found some places to call.
