Medicaid sent a quarterly report of what they paid for. If you did not keep those records, you get them from Medicaid.
MERP is usually handled by a third party collection agent.

Not all states Medicaid programs send out statements to NH Medicaid receipients.
You can request documentation from the state or the states contractor for MERP. There are two main contractors.... PCG & HMS. If your at the estate recovery stage after death and got the NOI (intent to file a claim or lien), you would send the request to whomever sent the NOI. NOI should have a case file #.

Also you can roughly determine what it will be based on what your states daily Medicaid reimbursement rate is for room & board at a NH X the # of days in a NH.

I kinda remember Pam mentioning national average for R&B paid was $ 170.

If there is a will and probate is being done, the state will need to file a claim with documentation just as any other debt / claim against the estate would.
