Its hard for her to get out of a chair. Got her a seat lift and she doesn't want to use it. It takes 2 people to get her up. With lift she can get herself up.
The lift chairs can be scary and are not 100% safe for those who aren't rock steady once their feet hit the ground - our home care worker had lots of stories about people who were dumped on the floor by their chairs. As for her getting angry, what kind of things are you trying to get her to do? If they are things that are "good for her" but not fun or rewarding you might have to try bribes, or figure out a way to work them into her ordinary daily routine or maybe back off altogether.
