Sometimes I have nerve blocks to my back and the doc's office insists I have a driver and the driver must stay with me. Is any such service available in North MS?

Senior Centers usually help with appointments. I would give your local office a call. Good luck.

You can also check your area's Agency on Aging for resources, and consider joining Nextdoor.com to see if a neighbor can get youu there and back.
