Senior Help Network? The local hospital here has a senior companion program...once a week for up to 6 hours. The local catholic charities has a similar program to pick up seniors and take them to the mall or grocery stores.

If your husband is on Medicaid [which is different from Medicare] see if your State will pay for a spouse to care for their spouse In the past most States didn't, but programs are always changing. Worth a phone call to your State Medicaid office.
