You can't sell the mattress for hygiene reasons.

Hello, Good answers already.

I can add by saying are you artsy? craftworksy? You could make the padding into cushions and then sell them.

Mattresses don't sell well, but it it's in good condition, maybe Goodwill will take it or Good Medical Will as another forum user answered.

Sound like a good hospital bed would be a great donation for someone, passing on the goodness onto someone struggling to buy one, doing a good deed.

Good for you for asking about for options. I hope everything finds a good home.

All the best.

No one or organization will take a mattress.
The Hospital bed can be donated. You can call your local Senior Center and ask, or ask if they have a "lending closet".
You can put it on fb Marketplace.
Most people that need a hospital bed will get one through their insurance. Or it is billed to Medicare/Medicaid through Hospice or when the doctor writes an order for the hospital bed

I would not feel safe listing it on FB Marketplace or Craig's List.

In my area we have a store called Good Medical Will. They have all sorts of used, clean medical equipment.
