I have taken time off from my job to take care of my husband who suffers from chf, liver issues, diabetes. Sometimes I just need to talk to someone when I feel overwhelmed, it's hard watching your husband becoming less than he was.

You could start a new thread with a title overwhelmed spouse, help! That might attract more people.

You are in such a group. Feel free to unload. You are not alone with your feelings of being overwhelmed.

Janger, lot of great informative people right here on this website.

Also, if you want information and it is 3 in the morning, scroll to the bottom part of this page to the blue section. It's a library of excellent articles for you to read. And, of course, if you have any questions, just as us here on the forum.

Welcome !!

You can say all you are feeling here, without the fear of saying something wrong.

Everyone here, I think, has / or is going through all sorts of things.
Loads here are great at practical advice too.

But if you just need to let off steam, that's OK too.

I am pretty new here to. I read lots of the posts.

Oh and like the others said WELCOME :)

While online forums like this are an invaluable resource, I think the OP is looking for someone to actually talk to. It's not the same.

OP, I would search your local area for local support groups. Many places have them which meet once a week. In my area they are run by hospitals, churches and even psychiatry offices. They all tend to meet once a week. While many are free, the ones run by the psychiatrist are paid. Even so, they charge only a small amount like $10-$25 for each group meeting. Not only can you talk it out there but inevitably you'll meet people who will befriend you and you can talk outside of group. Like I said, they meet once a week but nothing says you can't go to more than one. In my area, there's at least one group meeting every day.

Dear jangeromanos,

We have lots of kind and supportive people here on this forum. But another forum is the AARP. I don't know if you are on Facebook but there are also lots of good support groups there with someone active online most of the time to talk to.
