Is only my income or is the household income used to determine Medicaid eligibility?

Also, if you have house or car held jointly that is a problem. I had to find a lawyer (expensive) to move things into my name only. Medicaid will want to know 5 years of both of your financial history.

Are you married? Spouses income/assets also count.
