He served from 1962 to 1966 on the Navy Ship “Turner Joy” in the Tonkin Gulf during the Vietnam War-he was not boots on the ground in Vietnam. He has been told that he would not be eligible for Aid and Attendance through the VA Pension Benefits because he was not boots on the ground in Vietnam.

Go down to Requirement E and you’ll see that Boots on the Ground is not a requirement.
