lizbec26, the vast majority of grown children who are caregivers for their parent(s) do not get paid, unless the parent can pay them from their own retirement fund.

Who is POA? the POA would be the one that would be responsible for paying caregivers.
If her care gets too much, you could place her in Memory care if she can afford it. If not, then u will need to apply for Medicaid.
