Is a Memory Care considered a secure locked facility if the doors open after being held for 15 seconds?

I would not consider that a secured lock down. They had these doors at my Moms AL. Mom was able to get out. They are fire doors. Call your Fire Dept and see if these doors are manditory for this type of facility.

Yes, it is considered a secured area, The ability to open the door after 15 secs is a building and/or fire code requirement. The alarm will also sound.
